Testimonials "I have know and raced against Mr & Mrs Stone (Dave & Justine) for many years and have
always admired their consistency and ability to obtain top honours in the hottest of competition.
The pinnacle for Dave & Justine must have been topping two different Federations and winning the M.N.F.C on the same day 11. "
"At the end of the 1999 season Dave & Justine decided to take a break from competitive racing.
I then 'harrassed' Dave until he agreed to let me me purchase 3 pairs of mature stock birds, what
an investment ! ! ! These birds produced winners from the start and have continued to produce
birds of the same quality to this day." Mick Fearn Geoff Farmery from Acomb, York, purachsed six youngsters to race. Due to his bad health,

"In 2000 I reported a young bird belonging to Dave Stone. This bird was returned to him and as a way of thanks, Dave bred me two youngsters in 2001. (I call them the "91 Hen" and the "92 Cock"), these were bred off the young cock I reported GB 00 X 72050 "The Good Slaty". "I race the roundabout system and send cock's one week and hen's the next week. My Club has 15 old bird races (North Road) and this way they don't have a hard season. Listed below are some of the results of the two birds Dave bred, they have flown brilliant for me :
"These two birds are a credit to Dave Stone." George Bristow. I have sent a youngster to the Rhonfried Futurity race three times, in 2002, 2003 and in 2004. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase a ring in 2005. Due to the high stakes, I like all other fanciers tend to send pigeons from the best. In 2002 I donated a young Blue Cock, he was a g. son of my old No. I Pair. He was purchased by Dean Cartmell of Worcester. His ring no. is 02R29365, the "365 Cock", he has now won 2x1 st Club's, 4x2nd Club's, 2x3rd Club's, 11th Fed, 2,599 birds; 11th Fed 2,281 birds; 14th Fed, 2,259 birds; 15th, 2,352 birds; 17th, 2,266 birds; 4th Sect, 16th Open, Midlands Classic Club Messac '05, over 3,000 birds + more prizes. In 2003 Dean purchased my youngster again, but it hit wires and damaged its wing. In 2004, Craig Watts bought my youngster, Sire: 03E20523 4x1 st's, 1 st Fed 3,447 birds, a son of "Frank" & "Jemma", when paired to a full sister of "Shugga", from "Boss-Man"&"My Girl". The 2004 y/bird is now called "Bertie", a winner and also 4th Section, 11th Open Midlands Classic Club, Fourgeres 2005, 4,267 birds, plus more prizes. My pigeons are also winning in Ireland. Ken Guildea has a direct son of "Berwick Boy", he has bred some very good birds to win from the channel races, beleive me these races take some flying into Ireland. Only good honest pigeons will survive. Charles & Alison Postles from Congleton purchased a pigeon from Dave Stone. This hen
was a direct daughter of "Luke" & "Patsy" (Patsy was bred by Alwyn Paddey, being a direct
daughter of "Tornado", ace racer and breeder for Alwyn). The hen Charles describes as a
'plummy' hen, due to her colour. The Plummy Hen' raced well for Dave before Charles had
her, winning 3rd Club, 6th Fed, 2,147 birds (beaten by loft-mates, came together, full sister
won 1 st Fed); 6th Club, 437 birds, 7th Fed, 1,208 birds (beaten by three loft-mates, winning
**VICKY'S BOY** 1 st Club Mangotsfield, Super Racing & Breeding Cock
for Charles Postles, Congleton. Many more testimonials have been received from fanciers across the UK and Ireland, this is just to give you an idea of what others are doing with my pigeons. Charles Postles |
